There are very few restaurants that you can go to these days, where you can actually have a chat with the chef that prepared your food. As a Jamaican missing home, the food from this restaurant hit all the right spots; quelling a longing heart whilst bringing back sweet nostalgic memories of our island home, Jamaica!! The conversation that I had with the chef reminded me of the casual reasonings that Jamaicans commonly have with each other-no agenda, no ulterior motives-just a hold a 'medz'. I left that restaurant with my belly and heart full. I'd definitely recommend you try this restaurant. I definitely know I'll be back. One love! 🇯🇲
Hands down worst Jamaican food I’ve tasted. No flavour to the sauce, no spice tastes like it’s powdered and some oil inside it. Chicken was rubbery and jerk sauce was the worst I’ve tasted. Dumpling not even worth adding into the food as it’s completely dead. Go and learn to cook real Jamaican food not white washed prison food and charging £20 for it. I’ve been to Jamaican shops all around the country in actual urban cities like Birmingham, London and Nottingham and the worst of those don’t even compare to this.
Beautiful home cooked yard food, thank you, the mutton is so tender and seasoned well, really enjoyed the salt fish fritter but most enjoyable item was the Guinness punch, a must try!! Thank you for your beautiful cooking, deliveroo order to s6, 18/10/24
Delicious jerk chicken, with a real home cooked flavour of herbs and spices. Very generous portion too & drink included with the meal.
Service was good. Bought brown stew chicken & rice and peas. The brown stew chicken was just chicken breast for some reason so was really really dry & rice and peas wasn’t the best. I wouldn’t recommend this dish at all
