I just got back from Icarus And Apollo in Sheffield, a brand new Caribbean restaurant, and it's a real find! It's tucked away on a quieter street, so it has a really chilled-out atmosphere, kind of cozy and intimate. The photos online showed a bright, airy interior with lots of warm wood and some cool artwork on the walls—definitely gives off a relaxed, friendly vibe.
Their menu is pretty exciting – a great mix of classic Caribbean dishes and some more inventive options. They had jerk chicken, of course, but also some interesting seafood dishes and vegetarian choices I hadn't seen before. One photo showed a perfectly plated curried goat – rich and golden brown, it was incredibly appealing. I'd definitely recommend trying their roti; it looked amazing and smelled incredible while I was there.
What makes Icarus And Apollo special is its combination of authentic flavors with a really welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place perfect for a casual weeknight dinner with friends or a more relaxed celebration. It’s a breath of fresh air in Sheffield’s restaurant scene, offering something different and really delicious. Icarus and Apollo did the canapes and main food at our wedding. Everything was absolutely delicious and our guests were raving about it. Even the heavy meat eaters didn't miss having any meat all day. They were able to cater to guests with multiple different allergies, as well as providing some kids options. The van was very cute and looked lovely at the venue. All the staff were very friendly and did a great job. Was one of the best choices we made for our day. Thanks again Holly + Team!

A grazing table was a great choice for our Christmas party. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed tucking into a fantastic selection of tasty hot and cold veggie treats. Would highly recommend for any get together. Thank you Holly!
I have had the pleasure of eating several meals prepared by Holly, of Icarus and Apollo, over the past few years. I have never been disappointed. Food all freshly prepared and perfectly cooked. Hope to continue enjoy meals from Holly.
Wonderful food served by the gorgeous Holly. Super tasty vegetarian and vegan delights presented beautifully for a large Christmas gathering. I especially enjoyed the Dahl which was deliciously spicy. I would definitely recommend for any parties/weddings etc. Thanks so much!
