About Homeland Delicacy
Caribbean Restaurant in Sheffield
Homeland Delicacy in Sheffield is tucked away on a quiet side street, but don't let that fool you. The inside is vibrant and welcoming, with warm lighting and a really friendly atmosphere. They have some photos on their walls showing the chefs preparing food—looking at those, I could tell they take pride in their ingredients and presentation. It felt really cozy and unpretentious, a place where you can relax and enjoy your meal.
Their menu is packed with traditional Caribbean dishes, but with a few modern twists. They have all the classics like jerk chicken and curry goat, but also some interesting-sounding specials that change regularly. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of fish with vibrant mango salsa, it looked amazing. I wish I’d had time to try the callaloo soup; it looked incredibly rich and flavorful.
Homeland Delicacy is perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a family meal. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable, and the prices are fair. What makes it special is its genuine, home-cooked feel – you can tell the food is made with love. It's a great option for anyone who wants a taste of authentic Caribbean cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

First time trying African food and it was amazing definitely recommend. I got the lunchtime meal deal 2 which had jollof rice, wings, and plantain and I also got an extra goat curry first time trying this and it was amazing so flavourful really recommend
Went yesterday for a birthday meal with family. We all ate different foods. I opted for the goat curry, which I love it cost £15. The presentation was nice, the flavour was nice but the meat (what bit I got ) was awful it was full of fat ,gristle and little bones, I think it must have been the scrag end. It really really was not value for money at all..... Hence will not order from here again
Curry Goat Meal with Jollof Rice is the best!!!!! The lamb is incredibly tender and juicy, melting in your mouth with a rich, flavorful taste
This is three of Suya beef and some puff puff balls, I was warned the Suya beef was spicy but I love spice and really enjoyed them. The puff puff balls are something I've had from here a few times now. They're very airy doughnut like ball and since the Cambridge Street collective is missing a specific desert place these are a very welcome addition to their menu. I would highly reccomend getting puff puff balls as a desert even if you've gotten your main food elsewhere
After trying a lot of Caribbean restaurant's in Sheffield this is hands down the only good one, I liked everything I ordered which is rare, can’t wait to try again.
