Big Smoke BBQ in Sheffield is a cool little spot tucked away – I’m not going to give away the exact location, you'll have to find it! It's got a really relaxed, casual atmosphere. The space features plenty of natural wood and metal giving it an industrial-chic vibe, perfect for a casual dinner.
Their menu focuses on, you guessed it, BBQ! They've got all the classics – ribs, brisket, pulled pork – but they also have some interesting sides. One photo shows a perfectly plated mac and cheese that looked incredibly creamy and rich. I’d definitely recommend trying their smoked meats; they looked seriously delicious and smelled amazing while I was there.
What makes Big Smoke BBQ special is that it's clearly a labor of love. The food tastes fresh, made with care, and the friendly staff were clearly passionate about what they're doing. It's the perfect place for a casual get-together with friends, a date night, or even just a solo dinner when you’re craving some really good BBQ.

Had the build your own which was great value! Really tasty food at good price cooked fresh!
Ordered a couple of times since opening and have not been disappointed. The jerk chicken is tender and even through the intense flavour of the seasoned chicken you still get the delicate smokey flavour coming through. The rice is flavoured beautifully and the jerk gravy is something special. As a coeliac I was pleased to know that all meat and rice dishes are gluten free. Would 100% recommend.
I was really excited to try this place and it didn't dissappoint! It was delicious, smoky, rich and packed full of flavour. The chicken was super moist and seasoned well. The beef scewers were especially good too and had gorgeous spice and flavour. The smokey flavour really makes it. The desserts are also great - particularly enjoyed the ginger sticky toffee pud 😋 I would definitely recommend!
Just tried this new West Indian and African take out. The BBQ chicken was succulent and the rice was well seasoned and spicy. I’m looking forward to more takeout from the shop. The service was great and the shop is clean. That’s another plus. I know I can trust that the food I buy from the shop will be well prepared and clean.
Amazing food, had the vegan wrap with chips and a vegetable patty! The patty was flaky and spicy. The wrap was delicious. Will easily becomes a Saturday night take away staple.
