Caribbean Restaurant in Sheffield
876 Kitchen in Sheffield is tucked away on a quiet street, but the bright, colourful exterior immediately grabs your attention. Inside, it’s cozy and feels really welcoming, with warm lighting and Caribbean music playing softly in the background. The photos online don't quite capture the cheerful atmosphere; it's much more vibrant in person.
Their menu is a delightful mix of familiar Caribbean favourites and some unique dishes I haven't seen elsewhere. They've got jerk chicken, of course, but also a delicious-looking oxtail stew and some interesting vegetarian options. One photo shows a perfectly plated curried goat – rich, dark, and glistening – that had me seriously considering a return trip just for that.
What makes 876 Kitchen special is its genuine warmth and home-style cooking. It's the kind of place perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a celebration with friends. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean food in a relaxed, friendly environment, this is the place to go; it stands out from other restaurants because of the personal touch you feel.

I wasn't sure what to order as I haven't had much Jamaican food before so just followed the owner's recommendations and it was so good! Had rice and peas, jerk chicken, coleslaw, beef patty and whatever their delicious version of mac & cheese is.
Great food, amazing service and good portions. The person serving me was very friendly and welcoming and the place was spotless. Will definitely be dropping by after a sweaty squash match at the squash club
Taken on a trip to flavour town. Portions were great, the gentleman taking my order was really nice and polite. The food was really good. Had the Jerk chicken fresh out the kitchen and my my was the meat tender. The seasoning and flavours really came through, it was delicious. The Jerk gravy was a great addition to the beans and rice, gave the rice a nice kick. The coleslaw was amazing, it cuts through the jerk chicken and gives a refreshing flavour profile to the food. Also had the mutton curry which was really good too and tender! You can tell the food was made with care and passion. Definitely want to try the fried chicken and ox tail, next time.
Fantastic food and authentic meals! The owner who was at the store was very friendly and generouse, this is a great new addition to Ecclesall Road, will come back and recommend for others to try it out! Thank you and goodluck with the business.
Super tasty, great portion sizes/value for money and really lovely staff. We can’t wait to go back and try the jerk and fried chicken!
