Haus of Flava in Nottingham is a cute spot; it's small but has a really warm, welcoming feel. The photos online show a bright, colourful interior with lots of natural light – very Caribbean in vibe. It feels like somewhere you could easily spend a relaxed evening with friends or family.
Their menu looks fantastic, with a great mix of familiar Caribbean dishes and some more unique items. I saw jerk chicken, of course, but also some interesting seafood options and some really vibrant-looking veggie dishes. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of escabeche fish, which looked incredible and is definitely on my list for next time.

Food was so delicious, highly recommended this place is certainly a hidden gem. We got a platter to share wasn’t hungry but it was so tasty that I couldn’t stop eating till it was finished.
Big thanks to the Haus of Flava team/staff for their hard work and dedication, in and out the kitchen! I Been going here for awhile and one of my favourite orders within the platter selection is the Pescaterian Platter. For me i like nutrition and variety which makes it ideal with what comes with it. There's a great selection of drinks which you wont find elsewhere too that tastes amazing. So give it a try
The owners were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel so comfortable. The food was definitely the best selling point! It was my second time getting a seafood boil and it was brilliant. They didn’t skint out on the fillings and 1 small portion was very filling. Overall brilliant food and service!
Lastnight I ordered the combo meal and it was absolutely amazing! I went with the boneless chicken, lambchops, rice and mac & cheese.... wow. I will definitely be a returning customer, maybe even tonight! Hands down the best food I have ordered from a takeaway, its restaurant quality! 😋
Friendly staff who politely answered my questions on ordering. Had the combo of wings, lamb chops, Cajun fries and Mac & cheese. It had 5 Chicken wings and 3 good sized lamb chops. Chicken wings come in spicy or BBQ sauce. Lamb chops were seasoned and used the BBQ sauce as extra flavour.. Ate in and took the rest home for dinner, I reckon a hot oven or grill should heat it up nicely 😋
