About Boxes And Bowls
Caribbean Restaurant in Nottingham
Boxes and Bowls in Nottingham is a cute little spot; I popped in the other day and found it tucked away on a quiet street. The atmosphere was really relaxed, bright and airy, with friendly staff. Looking through their online photos, I noticed they’ve used a lot of natural wood and bright colours – it feels very casual and inviting, not at all stuffy.
Their menu focuses on Caribbean food, with a good mix of familiar dishes and some interesting-sounding things I hadn't seen before. They have all the classics – jerk chicken, curries, rice and peas – but also some unique bowl options that sounded really tasty. One photo showed a perfectly plated bowl with vibrant, colourful ingredients. I wish I'd tried the roti, it looked amazing.
What makes Boxes and Bowls special is its genuinely welcoming feel and the freshness of the food. It's perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends, a quick bite, or even a takeaway. It’s a great option if you’re craving Caribbean flavours without the fuss or high prices of some other places. I'd happily go back soon!
