About Coconut Paradise Community Cafe
Caribbean Restaurant in Northampton
Coconut Paradise Community Cafe is tucked away in a Northampton arcade, a cozy spot with a really relaxed atmosphere. The space feels friendly and informal; I saw photos showing board games set up on tables, creating a casual, community vibe. It’s not fancy, but it's inviting – the kind of place where you can easily settle in for a while.
Their menu is Caribbean comfort food, with lots of options. They've got classics like curry goat (highly recommended based on the reviews!), plantains, and dumplings. One photo showed a perfectly plated brown chicken stew with rice and peas, which looked incredibly wholesome. They also offer several vegan choices, which is fantastic to see.
What makes Coconut Paradise special is that genuine community feel. It's clearly a place loved by locals, and the friendly chef mentioned in reviews seems to be a big part of that. It's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner, a relaxed lunch with friends, or even a family outing. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean food in a laid-back, welcoming environment, this is the spot.

Delicious food prepared by the friendliest chef. We tried lots of different things from the menu, the curry goat, plantains and dumplings with gravy were so good. The atmosphere is super relaxed, there are even board games to play while you wait. We hope we will be in the area again soon so we can come back for another visit. All the best from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Lovely community cafe based in an arcade of shops in Northampton. Several vegan options available. Brown chicken stew was delicious and wholesome with a side dish of rice and peas. Price of the food and drinks were very good. There was background music and board games whilst the food was being prepared. I believe the cafe only opened this year. Highly recommended cafe to visit for good food.
Absolutely fantastic!!! Food was out of this world spectacular especially the fried dumplings with the ackee and callaloo. I'm Vegan and chef Anthony went above and beyond and brought me out so many delicious dishes and even had a beautiful vegan cake. I'm raving about this place going to tell everyone!!! Such friendly amazing staff. 👌🏻❤️
A nice, chill environment with good food, good service and good vibes. Everything you want from a Caribbean restaurant! Sadly- as a foodie, I forgot to take pictures of my food due to being too eager and greedy and as a result only thought about photos after I’d wolfed it all down! But honestly, it was absolutely delicious. I did , however remember to get a picture of the menu!! Although I imagine this will change as this was a tasting day! The Ackee and Saltfish was something else 😙🤌🏼 This place will be right up there once it’s fully open? Definitely recommend!!
Tried two of the vegan dishes and both were delicious. Such a fun vibe in this cafe - there were a few families painting and the staff were extremely friendly and kind. If I lived closer I would go here often!
