Native Cave Restaurant and Bar in Newcastle is tucked away – I had to hunt for it a little, but that added to the charm. The atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly, with a warm, earthy vibe. Looking through the photos online, I noticed lots of natural wood and soft lighting, creating a cozy feel perfect for a casual evening out.

Their menu is Caribbean-focused, with a good mix of familiar dishes and some more unique options. I saw jerk chicken, of course, but also some interesting seafood dishes and stews I hadn't encountered before. One photo shows a perfectly plated curried goat that looked incredible – I'd definitely recommend trying that, or perhaps the callaloo soup if you're looking for something lighter.
