Walking into Jemz Caribbean Cafe in Milton Keynes felt like stepping into a friendly neighbourhood eatery. It's a casual space, clearly family-run, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The photos online show a simple but bright interior – nothing fancy, just comfortable enough for a relaxed meal.
The menu focuses on classic Caribbean dishes, boasting generous portions. I saw pictures of vibrant jerk chicken, fluffy rice and peas, and what looked like a truly amazing fried plantain. They also offer a popular slush cocktail, which several reviews raved about. I'd definitely recommend trying their jerk chicken – the photos made my mouth water!

The rave reviews highlight the generous portions and amazing flavour, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a satisfying and affordable Caribbean meal. The slightly uncomfortable seating mentioned in some reviews is a minor quibble in comparison to the delicious food.

Authentic homemade family run restaurant. Super tasty. Large portions at a very reasonable prices. Only downside was the slightly uncomfortable seating inside. Amazing slush coctail.
Went there once while staying in that area, thought I'd give it a try, wasn't disappointed, the food was mouth-watering. delicious, tasty, pleasant. 8/10
Sandra and staff went above and beyond to provide catering for 25 people for Veolia. The food was absolutely amazing we really appreciate everything you done for us. 5 stars all around. Definitely recommend Jemz Delicious!!
Truly amazing food. I could not fault it, the rice, the spice, the friendly service. They have it all. The restaurant may need a little spruce up but when you're serving food this good, your customers will keep coming back no matter what! Really a hidden jem (sic) just off town, parking is available at the nearby supermarkets. You have to try it, you'll be back for seconds.
The curry goat tasted like they didn’t even add salt. I’m confused on what they did with the flavour cause it never even touched this dish and the girl serving is too rude for the food to be this awful. You better be providing quality meals if you’re gonna behave so renk and nasty. Go to Carumbar, they’re friendly and the food is authentic. Dis yah place need fi close. Or at least fire the chef cah nah suh i’m vex.
