About Ama’s Palace
Caribbean Restaurant in Milton Keynes
Walking into AMA’S PALACE in Milton Keynes felt like stepping into a vibrant home kitchen. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, buzzing with friendly chatter. It's a smaller place, so it feels intimate and casual – nothing fancy, just good food and good company. I didn't see any photos, but I imagine the space is cozy and inviting based on the friendly atmosphere.
The menu focuses on Caribbean favorites, and honestly, everything sounded delicious. They clearly pride themselves on fresh ingredients. One review mentioned amazing, soft beef – definitely something I'll try next time! Their puff puff also got a rave review, so that's going straight on my list for my next visit. The menu is fairly straightforward, not overwhelming but it gives you a good range of choices.
AMA’S PALACE is special because of the hospitality. The owner's warmth is infectious, making you feel like a welcome guest, not just a customer. It's the kind of place perfect for a casual weeknight dinner with friends or a relaxed family meal. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean food in a friendly, unpretentious setting, this is your spot.

My friends and I stopped off here for a quick bite as we were heading off somewhere later. We didn’t expect much but we were blown away by the hospitality of the owner and the food. He was so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Our food was amazing and you could taste it was fresh. He went over and above to give us a great experience. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you for the amazing service, food and tasty puff puff 🙏🏾
The food here is amazing! I'm very picky about beef because I don't like when it's tough and chewy, but it's so lovely and soft!
Great service. The staff were thoughtful and considerate. A special chill sauce was made just for me to cater to my needs. Will definitely be going again
During my visit to Bedford, I enjoyed tasty African dishes like jollof rice, fried rice, waakye, kenkey, and bofrot. The flavors were authentic, the service excellent, and the prices very reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone craving African cuisine!
I had a very disappointing experience with my recent meal. The kenkey itself was bad; it had an unpleasant texture and flavor, which made it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the pepper attached to the kenkey not the african grand pepper, instead it was mashed unfresh tomato with onions inside. To make matters worse, the accompanying meat on the wakye was predominantly bones with very little actual meat, making it frustrating and unsatisfactory. The meal did not meet my expectations, and there is significant room for improvement in both the preparation and presentation of the food.
