About Yaardies Takeaway
Caribbean Restaurant in Manchester
Yaardies Takeaway in Manchester is a bright, bustling spot; it's small but feels welcoming and informal, a little like stepping into someone's kitchen. The photos online show colorful walls and a friendly counter, suggesting a take-away focus with a casual, energetic atmosphere. It's a very small space that is clearly made for quick, in-and-out service.
Their menu is focused on classic Caribbean dishes. I saw photos of jerk chicken that looked incredibly juicy and flavorful, along with vibrant-looking sides of rice and peas. They also offered patties and other quick bites, perfect for a grab-and-go lunch or dinner. I’d definitely recommend trying the jerk chicken—it was the star of the photos.
Yaardies Takeaway is perfect for a quick, satisfying, and affordable Caribbean meal. It's the kind of place you'd grab lunch with colleagues or stop in for a tasty dinner after a long day. What sets it apart is its clear focus on fresh, authentic flavors and its relaxed, no-frills approach. If you're looking for a fancy sit-down restaurant, this isn't it; but if you crave simple, delicious Caribbean food at a good price, you'll love it.

This is the worse Jamaican takeaway ever! Does Jamie Oliver Co own it? Order chicken soup and just got two tubs of veg with the Uber driver saying they have really bad customer service and walked off. So I tried to ring the shop and there line is disconnected. Probably to many complaints if I could give it zero stars I would! Looks like prison left overs on a Sunday trust me on that! avoid this place!
I found this place recently and I do love Caribbean food. Jerk chicken, curried goat, ox tail and brown stew chicken are my favourites . I believe this place has opened recently and it’s very clean but does not have their own delivery driver yet. The service was excellent very kind and friendly but was not fast which is fairly normal from my experience of Caribbean food places. My first meal was the jerk chicken without rice, portion size was 3 pieces of chicken for £6 and At last somewhere with jerk chicken that’s actually spicy. So I came back another day to try the goat and that was decent too although with the rice which seemed to absorb all the gravy leaving it a little dry and there want that much meat. I Came back on another day to try the ox tail and it was a little gloopy but the flavour was good. Even the rice and veg was done to a good standard. However there was too much rice and not enough meat and again the rice absorbed a lot of the sauces. I wish they had some lunch time offers as I would come back but as it is I would prob reserve it for a once a month treat.
Was lovely, they had a deal on uber eats so I ordered pretty much everything they had and really enjoyed it. Good portions. Food food. Cannot understand the negative reviews here. This is my second favourite carribean takeaway
Omg never over from here look what I got serious it smelled off no chicken in the soup and a bag of watery soup on the dumplings soggy smelling dumplings omg really. This I swear is so dangerous I am sending the food off to public health this is not right the deliver driver even said sorry sorry this shop is bad bad and has bad customer service. Seen as I had a response and then am update that they are concerned....they need to be concerned, UPDATE....yaardies for you, your number to the takeaway is not even an active number, so nobody can call and discuss any matter. I'd appreciate my money back, as a right thing to do, it's abhorrent and dangerous what you did. So now apparently you don't serve soup weekdays just weekends......public health will let me know what it is, smelled like off chicken no chicken in the watery vegetable water bag of soup soggy dumplings, you amd I know this was totally wrong
Ordered online, the food wasn't tasty and no sides came with the main food £8 for that. Not ordering again, had no taste.
