I've heard some really good things about this place so I thought I'd give it go. They got.1 star because I can't give a minus. I found the staff to be dismissive to the point of rudeness. We were asked to close the door because my friend was smoking outside and I was talking to her from the inside. So we did as it was very cold outside, which left my 8 year old granddaughter locked outside just after surgery because she didn't want to leave her mother alone. We waited for 15 to 20 mins for 2 jerk chickens with chips 1 with sauce the other without ( 1 son loves sauce the other is autistic so won't eat Wet chips) She eventually turned up and I asked the lady to write on which one was which because I was driving 20 miles back to where I lived after giving my oldest his meal. Which she did. I took the meal that said without an £11.00 parcel. I got home to find We had what I could best describe as Iceland pre cook chicken ( No bones, no bbq char, no spice ) smothered in gravy. Iwaited 20 minute's and paid 22 quid for precooked chicken slices in gravy with partially cooked iceland (al dente) chips swimming in gravy. yip that's right my autistic son said I can't eat that! Hes not a bad kid but has a. restricted diet and will only eat certain foods. Cheers for your outrageously poor service Incredibly poor food That'll teach.me to try a new place. Let's hope they were having a bad day or just did not like the cut of my jib! You owe me an edible meal though or 22 pound. Yeah as if.... And that's what's left! From my little one. my oldest will be just as fed up if he got dry raw chips!

Worse jerk chicken I've had, dry chicken with no sauce. Curried chicken had hardly any meat and no sauce Burnt dumplins Don't waste your time

Grew up eating at this place and not once have I been let down ( apart from when they run out of the banging coleslaw but that’s minor) best place in Manchester tbh the food is just so good and the curry chicken the chicken just falls apart, will eat here till the day it closes hopefully never or by the time I’m old

Nice place, lovely staff. Very expensive for the quality of food though, it was okay but nothing special. Very disappointed that they serve frozen veg medley instead of proper steamed veg. Probably wouldn't return.

Used to frequent this place a lot but after my last visit I’ve decided I won’t be going back again. Had an issue with the person front-of-house as they claimed they could not make me jerk chicken without the rice initially, then when they finally did agree to do it they told me that it would be the same price as if it were with rice. Wasn’t too happy but whatever. I tapped my card and went on my way. When I arrived home and looked at my banking app I’d seen they’d overcharged me by four pounds. Surely not a mistake. Before this incident I had additional gripes too, one being that the place is constantly closed even during supposed opening hours and a majority of the staff are rude and dismissive. The goat served is tough, fatty and full of gristle too.
