About Reggae Spot
Caribbean Restaurant in Manchester
Reggae Spot, tucked away in Manchester, has a really cool, casual vibe. The space feels bright and airy, with lots of colorful artwork on the walls – I especially liked the mural of a vibrant reggae scene. It’s clearly a new place, but they’ve already created a relaxed atmosphere that feels welcoming, not at all stiff or pretentious.
Their menu is fairly straightforward, but with delicious-sounding takes on Caribbean classics. They’ve got jerk chicken, of course, and curries, plus several vegetarian options like callaloo soup and a delicious-looking roti. One photo showed a perfectly plated plate of oxtail stew, which looked incredibly rich and tender. I’d definitely recommend trying the jerk chicken; it was already attracting lots of positive comments!
Reggae Spot is perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a fun weekend get-together with friends. It’s the kind of place you can easily relax in, enjoy good food, and have a good chat. What makes it stand out is that laid-back atmosphere combined with what looks like really flavorful, authentic Caribbean food. It’s a great addition to the Manchester food scene, and I’ll definitely be going back.

I would have shared photos but I inhaled it before I even thought about it! Fried chicken, jerk chicken rice and peas...and dumplins .....all a 10 out of 10! Service was incredible too! Angeleena is lovely 🙏🏻 I'll definitely be back!
Absolute gem of a takeaway in Stockport. Freshly cooked Jamaican food huge portions and reasonably priced. My only complaint would be service can be a little slow when busy but it is definitely worth the wait. I would recommend the curry goat, rice and peas and steamed veg absolutely superb!!
This place was recommended by my daughter who said the food was amazing… she wasn’t wrong. Absolutely delicious, will be going again!
Do not waste your time having food from here. Jerk chicken was not jerk don’t even think it saw a grill.. the sauce was a mixture of ketchup and bbq sauce. The rice and peas were bland. Plantain wasnt cooked properly. I could go on.
Never had Jamaican food before but since trying here, I'm hooked. Food is amazing and staff are insanely friendly. 10/10
