Pure Flavas in Manchester is tucked away on a quiet street, but don't let that fool you; inside it's buzzing with energy. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for a casual dinner or a catch-up with friends. Looking through the photos, I noticed the warm lighting and vibrant artwork—it has a really welcoming feel.
Their menu is packed with authentic Caribbean dishes, offering a nice balance of familiar favorites and exciting new things. They have all the classics, like jerk chicken, but also some intriguing specials that change regularly. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of curried goat, which looked absolutely delicious, and I'd definitely recommend trying their seafood options too; they looked fresh and beautifully cooked.

Had from here a few times. Definitely good portion sizes for your money. The small soup for 1 person fed me and my partner really well. (I hope they don’t take the mick & increase prices or lower the portion size now) Jamaican soups, the dumplings, the meat meals and the drinks are all lovely I haven’t tried the desserts yet. I love the range of options. Just wish they’d have what I want in stock when I go to order. Always sold out of chicken meat meals & they don’t bother to make anymore. Last I checked they didn’t have online service or a phone number so it’s walk-in only. But still friendly service with a bright warm atmosphere when you walk in. Usually packed with younger people ordering. But I don’t blame them it’s so nice. There’s indoor seating to eat inside as well as a swing. Pure flavas have pure food to choose from. I hope you enjoy your order as much as I’ve enjoyed mine.
Provide a phone number and online ordering system that is always available during business hours. Also a faster pace in the kitchen would be good for business. These are the reasons I will not order with Carribbean anymore.
Third vist here, would definitely recommend. Food is well seasoned and hearty! Good portion sizes and value for money in all honesty, considering the price of everything has shot through the roof. The cheapest meal on the menu at dixys down the road will run you £6-7. The microwave over the road isn't even in the same league. I 'd much rather pay for and enjoy food from a small independant, making fresh food daily!
Boom place for good food. Curry goat, oxtail, pepper steak all nice.
I found the jerk chicken to be quite dry in both the split & the jerk box, & despite ordering a large they just added more rice but with the same amount of chicken as the regular. I also found what looked like hair in the grater cake. Quite overpriced too.
