About Littlerock
Caribbean Restaurant in Manchester
Littlerock in Manchester is a cozy spot, tucked away – I wish I could give you a better sense of the location but I didn't note the specific street. The atmosphere is casual and friendly; it feels like the kind of place where you could easily settle in for a relaxed meal. Looking through the photos, I noticed the simple, clean decor, suggesting a focus on the food itself.
Their menu focuses on Jamaican cuisine, with dishes like jerk chicken, curry chicken, and rice and peas. One photo shows a perfectly plated jerk chicken, glistening with spice. I'd definitely recommend trying their jerk chicken; the reviews mentioned it being authentic and delicious. They also seem to have a good selection of sides, making it easy to customize your meal.
What makes Littlerock special is its home-cooked feel and friendly service. It's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend lunch when you don't feel like cooking. The positive reviews about the friendliness of the staff suggest this is a place that values its customers, which goes a long way. Based on the mixed reviews I've seen, I'd suggest it's best for people who appreciate authentic, home-style Jamaican cooking, but maybe skip it if you're looking for large portions.

We stumbled upon this place before a night at the Apollo. It was absolutely delicious. Authentic Jerry chicken with rice and jerk gravy. Did not disappoint! Great friendly service! Thoroughly recommend 👌
Yummy! Classic home cooked style Jamaican cuisine, PLUS they're open on Sunday's for the weekends when you can't be bothered cooking yourself. A definite must try.
Ordered a large curry chicken rice & peas.. was so disappointed! Was dry af & for a large it’s looks like a extra small portion with tons of rice. Will not be returning.. either go to sunrise or GG’s I’m telling you
Would not recommend at all 10pound for 1chicken leg a small bit of chicken and no sauce dry then I ordered cake and custard he told me he had no custard then came back through the door with tinned custard laughing was lucky I gave him my money.if use want a good Carribbean go to sunrise proper homemade food with love.
Hard to get Jamaican food on a Sunday and Little Rock didn’t was open and didn’t disappoint. I had oxtail rice and peas and curried goat rice and peas. Both were excellent and the accompanying steamed veg was also very good. I also ordered a cup of porridge which was full of flavour leaving a warming aftertaste of nutmeg and to top it off the ackee and salt fish was as good as any I have tasted. Topped off with a friendly service it has to be one of the best Jamaican food outlets in Manchester and there’s not many I haven’t visited.
