About Littlerock
Caribbean Restaurant in Manchester
Littlerock, the new Caribbean restaurant in Manchester, is tucked away on a quiet side street—a little gem I stumbled upon. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with warm lighting and a friendly buzz. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the space features lots of natural wood and vibrant artwork, giving it a really authentic feel.
Their menu is packed with delicious-sounding options; they've got jerk chicken, of course, but also a tempting selection of curries and stews. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of escovitch fish, looking incredibly fresh and vibrant. I'd definitely recommend trying their roti—it's a must-have, apparently a house specialty.
What makes Littlerock special is its genuine feel; it feels less like a restaurant and more like a home-cooked meal, elevated. It's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a celebratory meal with friends. If you’re looking for authentic Caribbean food in a comfortable setting, this is the place to go.

Hard to get Jamaican food on a Sunday and Little Rock didn’t was open and didn’t disappoint. I had oxtail rice and peas and curried goat rice and peas. Both were excellent and the accompanying steamed veg was also very good. I also ordered a cup of porridge which was full of flavour leaving a warming aftertaste of nutmeg and to top it off the ackee and salt fish was as good as any I have tasted. Topped off with a friendly service it has to be one of the best Jamaican food outlets in Manchester and there’s not many I haven’t visited.
We stumbled upon this place before a night at the Apollo. It was absolutely delicious. Authentic Jerry chicken with rice and jerk gravy. Did not disappoint! Great friendly service! Thoroughly recommend 👌
Yummy! Classic home cooked style Jamaican cuisine, PLUS they're open on Sunday's for the weekends when you can't be bothered cooking yourself. A definite must try.
Ordered a large curry chicken rice & peas.. was so disappointed! Was dry af & for a large it’s looks like a extra small portion with tons of rice. Will not be returning.. either go to sunrise or GG’s I’m telling you
