About Kb's Caribbean Takeaway
Caribbean Restaurant in Manchester
KB's Caribbean Takeaway in Manchester is a bright and friendly spot; it's small but feels welcoming, more like a cheerful neighborhood eatery than a formal restaurant. The space features simple, clean lines, and I could easily imagine grabbing a quick lunch here or picking up dinner to go. Looking through the photos online, I noticed they have some nice outdoor seating, too – perfect for warmer weather.
Their menu is full of classic Caribbean dishes, with a good range of options. I saw jerk chicken and goat curry, along with several vegetarian sides like plantains and rice and peas. One photo shows a perfectly plated platter of fried fish with vibrant, colorful vegetables – that looked amazing. I'd definitely recommend checking out their daily specials, as they seem to change regularly.
What makes KB's special is its focus on fresh, flavorful food at a fair price. It’s casual and unpretentious, so it's a great option for a quick, tasty meal. This place is perfect for a casual lunch, a weeknight dinner, or even picking up something to enjoy at a park. Anyone craving authentic Caribbean food in Manchester should definitely give them a try!

I tried the curry goat and jerk chicken for the first time and it was amazing. Will definitely return
Love kb’s. Gorgeous home made Caribbean food. Nice portions, expensive but worth every penny! Highly recommend x
Used to be good… Ordered online on two occasions for our order to be cancelled whilst we’re on the way. Thought the first time might have been bad luck but clearly not. They don’t answer the phone either. Such a shame as the food was mega.
Curry goat, rice & peas, fried dumpling and plantain. Curry goat was delicious, more sauce for the rice would have been good. Rice & peas tasted as expected. Fried dumpling was large, fresh, soft and delicious. Plantain wasn't cooked properly and was still a little firm. Unfortunately they were out of rum cake. I'd try here again.
The absolute real deal!! The soup was so tasty and the oxtail melted off the bones. The rice and peas were cooked to perfection!! Hand down the best Caribbean takeaway in the nort, and you know what made it that little bit extra special. The lady that served gave amazing service!! Keep reping you are doing us proud x
