About J.s. Rhythm Grill
Caribbean Restaurant in Manchester
J.S. Rhythm Grill in Manchester is a real find! It's tucked away in a slightly unassuming spot, but the inside is bright and lively, with a really warm, welcoming feel. The walls are decorated with colorful artwork and the whole place has a really upbeat Caribbean vibe. Looking through the photos online, I noticed they have comfortable booths and a nice bar area too, perfect for a relaxed meal.
The menu is full of classic Caribbean dishes, but with some creative twists. They've got all the usual suspects – jerk chicken, curries, and rice and beans – but also some interesting daily specials. One photo shows a perfectly plated escovitch fish that looked incredible. I'd definitely recommend trying their plantain chips – they were seriously addictive!
What makes J.S. Rhythm Grill special is the genuinely friendly service and the authentic feel of the place. It’s perfect for a casual dinner with friends, a family celebration, or even a romantic date. It's a welcome addition to Manchester's food scene and definitely stands out from the more generic Caribbean restaurants in the city because of its unique character and delicious food.

I really like this place, it’s much better than other Jamaican takeouts in Manchester. The portions are big and the flavours are good - only criticism is that it’s a bit on the salty side. Dumplings were tasty and huge! My faves are the curried/jerk chicken. You don’t feel gross after eating it too. Winner 🏆
Lamb and chicken shawarma was good! The prices are great for the portion sizes 🔥 Would definitely recommend only thing I will say is the time for the food to arrive was so so so long.
Greated by pleasant staff, the man ovi gave us a couple of recommendations as we was unsure what to try, the food was absolutely amazing! Meat melted in the mouth, food very tasty . Huge portions for the reasonable prices, glad we found this place, will return :)
Starved, jumped in here and was blown away by the spices. First time on the jerk and well enjoyed it My pal who was with me wanted Guinness punch, but non in. I had a Bigga. First time for me and yeah baby Food choice for me was off the bone chicken, chips and steamed veg. Was awesome. I couldn't even finish it, so much and £10-£11? Great value
I’ve been a long standing customer of over 1 Year. I had food poisoning several weeks ago soon the day after consuming lamb curry. Food poisoning was severe (had to have 3 days off work). When I called the restaurant to explain to them that I’ve had food poisoning the lady I spoke with said the restaurant would compensate me by giving me a free meal next time I ordered. I called to place an order today and explained that I was promised a free meal and the person I spoke to informed me that he can not offer me a free meal! Very disappointing. Won’t be ordering from here again!
