About Island Grill House
Caribbean Restaurant in Manchester
Island Grill House in Manchester is a cute spot, tucked away but not hard to find. The atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly; it feels more like a casual gathering than a stuffy restaurant. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the space features lots of warm wood and bright colours, giving it a really cheerful, island vibe.
Their menu focuses on Caribbean classics, with a good selection of jerk chicken, curries, and seafood dishes. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of escabeche, which looked incredible. I'd recommend trying their rum punch – it was definitely a highlight!
This place is perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a low-key date night. It’s a great alternative to the usual Manchester restaurant scene, offering delicious food and a fun, welcoming environment. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a good value option too.

Finest Kosher Dining Restaurant in Central London and it’s overlooking Hyde Park. Tony Page, it’s owner and Europes No.1 kosher caterer has given London and all it’s visitors a Rolls Royce opportunity to be able to eat and enjoy fine kosher food in the world most loved Metropolitan city. The Chicken Soup with Matza balls is both world class in taste and it’s presentation at the table. Never have I experienced such beautiful presentation and you have the option of adding at the table, extras to the soup like chopped Carrots, Noodles (Lochshen) or small pieces of Brest of chicken. Their Steak Tarta is probable the best I have tasted and impeccably made.
A very busy place. A friend suggested we eat there, but I'm not a big fan of kebabs etc.
When does it open?
