Indian here, so I'm very normally very fussy and critical with the bland anglicised Indian food you get in most restaurants. Having read good reviews about East to West, I thought I'd give it a try. First impressions for us were great because of the ambience. Very tasteful interiors and furniture and clean bathrooms. I ordered a papad(am), their mint sauce was the loveliest I've had. Our mains took a little time but we could see it was being prepared, so it's nice that it just wasn't premade pastes but made from scratch. I ordered the paneer karahi and oh my gosh. It was divine!!! Very authentic and nicely spiced. The portions were very generous. One naan/roti here is twice the size of what you'd find in other Indian restaurants, I was stuffed! Arif gave us really great service waiting our table. I have a new favourite restaurant and I can't wait to go back.
Went for a family meal last night with my 3 children. Been here before and never been disappointed. But last night they excelled themselves. Service was superb and the food was possibly the best curry I've ever had. Great quality and value.
Our first time at the restraunt. Ample off-road parking, light and airy inside with a variety of tables for different party size. An extensive menu gave plenty of choice for all tastes. We had starters and mains and thoroughly enjoyed them. Good portions in both. Our fish starters were great, very tasty and the mains excellent. A few drinks on draft including Cobra and an IPA. Overall a great meal and definitely one to revisit again.
Absolutely delicious meal at East to West this evening. The rice was fragrant, the curry was beautifully balanced and the nan bread was light with a crunch. It wasn't cheap but it was definitely worth every penny. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive.
east to west has always been a favourite of mine ! i’ve dined in once but ideally get takeaways , such a lovely place and the food is amazing , always on time and free delivery on just eat ! never had any problems with east to west , will keep ordering from them!
