So I checked out this new Caribbean place in Manchester called Caribbean Lifestyle Takeaway. It's a small spot, not fancy at all, but it has a really friendly, casual vibe. The photos online showed bright colours and some simple, clean decor—nothing too fussy. It felt more like grabbing takeout from a local spot than dining in a restaurant.
They have a pretty straightforward menu, focusing on classic Caribbean dishes. I saw jerk chicken, curry goat, and a few different types of rice and beans. One photo showed a perfectly plated plate of jerk chicken with a vibrant red colour; it looked amazing. I'd recommend trying their jerk chicken if you go—it’s definitely a popular choice.

Ordered from uber eats & food was cancelled as i lived local went down to see why, was told that the “microwave was broken” (glad it was cancelled because of that) but was told I would be refunded from uber eats but never was in which led me to get my refund through my bank. First & last time i’ll order from this place

Got Curry goat , the amount (size wise) was quite good but the food wasn’t seasoned very well. It tasted quite plain and tasteless to be honest, Plantain was also quite dry as well you could tell that it wasn’t fresh. WORST curry goat and rice and peas that I've had
Amazing hidden gem! Perfect dumplings, unbelievable flavour to the curry goat which falls of the bone. The woman that cooks the food is so friendly and kind. Would 10000% recommend.
Everything about my delivery was amazing. I ordered from deliveroo, the food came hot and packaged with a lot of care. The portion sizes were very good too. The taste was the best Caribbean food I have even had. Top quality ingredients. I well defo be ordering again. The delivery driver was also very professional and polite. Over all 5* food.
