I just got back from True Flavours Caribbean Cuisine in London, and it's a really cool spot. It's tucked away on a quiet side street, so it has a lovely, intimate feel. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly – think warm lighting, maybe some reggae playing softly in the background. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the place is nicely decorated with vibrant colours, giving it a genuine Caribbean vibe.

Their menu is pretty diverse, with all the classics you’d expect – jerk chicken, curries, rice and peas. They also have some interesting seafood dishes I wish I'd tried. One photo shows a perfectly plated escabeche, which looked amazing. I went with the oxtail stew, and it was rich and flavourful – definitely one of the best I've had. For dessert, the rum cake was a must.

What makes True Flavours stand out is its authenticity. The food really tastes like someone's lovingly prepared home cooking, but in a restaurant setting. It's perfect for a casual dinner with friends, a romantic date night, or even a celebratory meal.
