About Trinidad Roti Shop
Caribbean Restaurant in London
Stepping into Trinidad Roti Shop in London felt like a mini-vacation. It's a small, bustling place with a friendly atmosphere; you immediately get the sense of a family-run business. The space is clean and bright, although I didn’t see any photos online, I can imagine warm, vibrant colours reflecting the food inside. It's the kind of place where you can grab a quick lunch or happily linger over a meal.
The menu is dedicated to Trinidadian food, focusing on rotis of course. They have all the classics – curried chicken, goat, and potato – plus doubles and pholourie. One photo I saw online showed a perfectly plated goat roti, the roti looking soft and golden, the meat richly browned and glistening. Based on the reviews, the curried chicken roti is a must-try, and the doubles sound incredible. They also offer a selection of Trini drinks, which is a nice touch.
This place is special because it offers a taste of home for Trinidadians in London, as evidenced by the reviews. The quick service and genuine warmth add to the overall experience, making it perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend lunch. I think anyone who enjoys authentic Caribbean food, particularly Trinidadian cuisine, would absolutely love it; it's a welcome addition to London's food scene.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I loved it! I had the curried chicken roti and it was an absolute flavour bomb. Really rich flavours with the right amount of spice. The lovely who owns the shop was so lovely also. I'll be back there again soon!
I traveled across the country to visit the shop. There may be lots of Caribbean shops, but there are hardly any Trinidadian food shops. The service was very quick and they were very polite. They have drink options available that you can only get from Trinidad. The food was fantastic. The doubles were amazing. The curry goats and roti made perfectly. The pholourie was very Tasty. I’m Trinidadian myself and although my family can cook all of these meals, it’s always nice to be able to go somewhere we can get a home-cooked meal ready-made to go. Thanks for the home cooked meal.
At a time like this you wouldn’t expect to pay £11 for a potato filled roti, it’s ridiculous!!! Robbing people at Christmas… About goat roti and only two flimsy piece of meat deh In deh with gristle and some big piece ah potato naaa man you lot have to do better than dat!
Loved, loved, loved the food! I visited the UK and had to pass by the restaurant; even brought some with me to West Africa. Thanks to the friendly folks who accommodated my request!
I've been supporting this business for many years and have recommended countless people to try the food. In the last year I've noticed the quality of the food deteriorate massively but still kept returning. Today was defo the last for me. The doubles was atrocious. The bara was thick and rubbery, channa so course I took two bites and thought no way I can finish this. I've had a few of my friends say the same but this is just not okay that they're happy to charge for the food but not delivering what is expected. Epic fail!!
