About Ting N Ting

Caribbean Restaurant in London

Ting n Ting in London is a charming spot, tucked away and offering a warm, inviting atmosphere. The place feels genuinely homely; it's not fussy or pretentious, just comfortable and welcoming. I didn't see any photos of the interior online but the reviews mentioned a lovely atmosphere, which definitely felt true in person.

The menu focuses on Caribbean food, with a clear emphasis on authentic flavours and home-style cooking. They have all the classics – curries (the mutton curry gets rave reviews!), stews, and plenty of other dishes. One photo I saw online showed a perfectly plated jerk chicken dish that looked incredibly juicy and flavorful; it's definitely on my list for next time!

What makes Ting n Ting special is the genuine warmth and hospitality. Garfield, the owner and chef, creates a really fun and relaxed dining experience. This isn’t just a meal, it’s a chance to experience Caribbean culture and generosity. It's the perfect place for a relaxed dinner with friends or family – a place where you can linger and enjoy great food and good company.

Second visit and did not disappoint. Amazing food, warm welcome and lovely atmosphere. Mutton curry is fantastic. Thank you Garfield 😊🙏

A group of us came for dinner on Saturday and had an absolutely wicked time. Garfield and Darius were lovely and hilarious, and the food was gorgeous. We didn't manage to all get exactly what we ordered but even though they ran out of certain things, the secondary choices were lovely too. Be prepared to spend some time there, this isn't somewhere you'll pop in for a quick bite, but if you have the time and the patience and a decent sense of humour you'll be super glad you came.

I recently visited this restaurant on a client's recommendation. I met the owner and chef, "Garfield," who is originally from Grenada, by the way. I didn't expect such a down-to-earth and friendly personality from someone who is so humble and amusingly self-effacing when receiving compliments. The food was authentic, and as someone familiar with Jamaican cuisine, I can confidently recommend this place to both those who are already familiar with it and those who are yet to experience the joy of the culture. This restaurant has now become a go-to spot and a recommendation for all my Rockfield Guitar Engineering clients, whether they are famous or not. Thank you, Garfield. I'll see you next week. Looking forward to more of that punch!

Actually haven't eaten here properly yet as when my wife and I went to eat here last week they had run out of the produce for the day. However, the owner/operator Garfield offered us the last of the jerk chicken and some rum on the house (he would not accept my money at all), showed us around, had a lovely chat and then gave us his number so we could call him in advance next time so he could make sure some was left over. Absolutely top guy, the chicken was insanely tasty, can't wait to go back and try the full experience.

Just had the most delicious oxtail meal here! Portion was great value for money and Garfield made the whole experience wonderful with sweet soca music in the background! Place reminded me of a cross between Desmond’s and Death in Paradise! Definitely be back! 🙌🏾🙌🏾

A frankly bizarre establishment. The owner stared at me before responding to my request for a table with "you're 'aving a laugh?" then walked around in a daze. Despite being sat down for 10 minutes it didn't look remotely like any menus were coming our way, let alone food, so I certainly wasn't 'aving one. Maybe when the stars align it's possible to get some decent food out of this place but on this cold and wet night this place is where dreams come to die. Avoid like the plague.
