About Roti Stop Ltd
Caribbean Restaurant in London
Popping into Roti Stop Ltd in London felt like a quick trip to the Caribbean. The place is small but cozy, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. It's not fancy, but that's part of its charm – it feels very much like a neighborhood spot. The reviews mention beautiful staff, and I can confirm that – everyone was super welcoming.
Their menu is packed with Caribbean staples: rotis, doubles, curries, patties, and fresh juices. One photo I saw showed a perfectly plated portion of saltfish bake – that looked amazing. They offer vegetarian and vegan options, including ital food. I'd recommend trying the saltfish bake (based on the photo and reviews!), and maybe venturing into a roti, depending on your spice tolerance. The price point is mid-range, which seems appropriate for the quality and portion sizes.
Roti Stop is perfect for a casual, quick lunch or dinner if you crave authentic Caribbean flavors. It's the kind of place you go to for a taste of home cooking, not a fancy night out. Some reviews highlight inconsistencies in the food quality, so your experience might vary, but if you're looking for a generally homely and tasty meal at a reasonable price, it's worth a shot.

Very warm welcome and beautiful staff, the food is very homely and very authentic to the Caribbean. I ordered quiet a variety considering I am vegan they had a lot of ital food to offer.
I was really looking forward to reviewing this roti stop shop. Overall I was not impressed, the lamb curry was decent. The roti was flakey and a bit dry. The salt fish bakes were really nice though. The doubles was really greasy and the Chana Daal filling inside the doubles had a lot of potatoes inside. The fresh juices were priced at 6 pounds. Patties priced at 3 pounds. Overpriced and expected true authenticity and better quality with the roti and doubles.
Standards have dropped massively, we specifically called to request tamarind sauce in our doubles. And was told they come with it. Ours came with hot pepper sauce and no tamarind... inedible & disappointed. Plus,i it's tasteless potato curry respectfully. Zero authentic carribean taste. Also, the roti was just okay, we requested pumpkin inside, one small smear was inside basically nothing. We stopped eating here a few yeats back and was reminded why we dont anymore. Sorry I support our peoples business but improvements are needed.
Little in the expensive side but I’m used to going to places in Brixton/south London in general. A shame the food was microwaved and not fresh. Very decent choices for vegans which is wonderful to see and we will be back to try more to see what the rest is like. Service wasn’t that fast considering it was almost empty, but it’s not McDonald’s so it’s ok
Really great food, one of the best Roti's I've had in london. Was filling and the right amount of heat. Travelled from north london to try it and will definetly be back for more. Prices were reasonable as well.
