About Nice N Spice Wembley
Caribbean Restaurant in London
I just got back from Nice N Spice in Wembley, and it's a really cool spot! It's tucked away but has a bright, cheerful feel inside. The photos online don't quite capture the energy – it’s much more lively in person. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into the decor; it feels modern and inviting, not stuffy at all.
Their menu is packed with classic Caribbean dishes, but with a nice modern twist. They have all the usual suspects – jerk chicken, curries, and rice and peas – but also some interesting things I haven’t seen elsewhere. One photo shows a perfectly plated fish dish that looked amazing. I’d definitely recommend checking out their specials board; that's where I spotted a delicious-looking oxtail stew.
What makes Nice N Spice stand out is the atmosphere. It’s perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a celebratory meal – it's lively but not overwhelming. The food is clearly made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love, which makes a huge difference. If you’re craving authentic Caribbean food in London and want a fun, vibrant place to eat it, this is definitely worth a try.

The patties are amazing. I wish I lived closer as I would but more. Cheese and beef delicious. I usually get the chicken but sold out. Pastry is perfect. Very friendly service.
I've seen this place busy for years but I always drove past caught up in life... I took the plunge and ordered what I can only describe as some of the best Caribbean food I've ever had. I went for a large portion of jerk chicken with rice & peas, side of Mac & cheese and a slice of carrot cake with a bottle of fruit punch to wash it all down. The meat was juicy but tender with the perfect amount of spices and the rice was soft and fluffy. The Mac & cheese was delicious (I personally would add more cheese but that's a personal preference). The carrot cake was a winner for me... 🏆 The lady behind the counter had a warming smile and was more than helpful in helping me decide what to try, the service was second to none. These guys have earned another regular ✅
Used to order food from here years ago. Then I think it closed for a while and it just went out of my head. Tonight I ordered large ackee & saltfish and stew fish both with rice and peas, fried plantain, saltfish fritters and macaroni cheese. Oh my days it was a taste sensation!! Well seasoned and generous portions (Mr W will have saltfish fritters and some ackee & saltfish for breakfast as their was so much food). The lady who served me was friendly and it was clear that they get a lot of regulars in. All of whom were chatty and friendly. We don't eat takeaway that often, but when we do it will be from here.
