Mr Cee's Caribbean Cafe in London is tucked away on a quiet street, but don't let that fool you; the inside is vibrant and welcoming. The walls are painted in cheerful colours, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly – perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend lunch with friends. Looking through the photos, I noticed lots of natural light streaming in, making the space feel airy and inviting.
Their menu is full of classic Caribbean dishes, with plenty of options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. I saw jerk chicken, curried goat, and callaloo soup in the photos – the chicken looked particularly delicious, perfectly glazed and glistening. They also have a great selection of sides, from rice and peas to fried plantains, and a tempting dessert menu to finish off your meal. I'd recommend trying their rum punch, if you're feeling adventurous!
What makes Mr Cee's special is its authentic feel; it's clearly run by people passionate about their food and culture. A really friendly place to visit with a friendly pleasant atmosphere. My friend introduced me to the place last year and I got a little bit addicted to the fried fish. It is cooked and seasoned beautifully every time I visit.. I recently took a 5 month sabbatical from take away foods. April 2018 and I returned to Mr Cee’s and the manager greeted me by my name and actually noticed that I had not visited for a while. It is always a nice touch when the manager remembers your name. Definitely glad to be back, the food still tastes amazing...
Traditional Caribbean cuisine that are freshly prepared. I've visited a few times and enjoyed their food. Great mains and delicious sides. I only noticed them because i get the bus early in the morning before 7am and often see hem working away or taking delivery.
Tasted good although a little pricey. Had mild food poisoning from eating their chicken stew. Their pineapple punch was great. Shame about not having fried chicken available at 2pm, will not be visiting again.
