Stepping into Limin Southbank felt like stepping onto a sun-drenched Caribbean island. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with lively music setting a cheerful tone. The space features warm lighting and a décor that immediately transports you away from London. It felt really relaxed, even though it was pretty busy.
Their menu boasts a delicious array of Caribbean classics. I saw jerk chicken and flavorful curries in some photos; they looked amazing. I’d highly recommend trying their cocktails, they looked fantastic too, and seemed to be a big hit with other diners. They had run out of one dish when we went, so it's worth calling ahead if you have your heart set on something specific.
Limin Southbank is perfect for a celebratory meal with family or friends – the atmosphere is buzzing but still intimate enough for conversation. It's a great spot if you're craving authentic Caribbean food and want a fun, joyful experience that’s a bit different from the usual London restaurant scene. Limin was nice, the food was okay, a bit pricey for two main meals, starters and cocktails. I would visit again but maybe not for a while. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a dish on the menu we wanted but could only order one as they had run out. It was okay but not quite what I expected. I went just after Christmas, it was quiet which probably affected the atmosphere. The music was good.
Celebrated Mum’s birthday here with my sons and it was fantastic! From the genuinely warm and bubbly welcome from the owner Sham, to the vibrant atmosphere and the excellent food, it was totally perfect. Mum also gave everything 10/10, so this is definitely scheduled for another visit! Loved it! See you again soon!
We had such an amazing overall experience. The food, hospitality and ambiance made us feel like we were back in the Caribbean. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic experience. We would absolutely be visiting again! Thanks Guneet and Sham for a fantastic experience.
This place is amazing and the vibes is giving me the Swiss Alps met the Caribbean. Excellent choices of food and don't miss ordering the calamari! The best one I've tasted for a very long time. The roti is fluffy and the curry goat is definitely the G.O.A.T. We were served by Stephanie who is full of great suggestions and has even told us the best way to serve money on shots!
Cain was a fantastic waiter. Had a really good knowledge of the food and was able to explain options which helped with deciding on what to pick. The owner was very friendly and engaged with us. Which was really nice. Atmosphere 5* The waiters were friendly and helpful
