About G&k`s Caribbean Cuisine
Caribbean Restaurant in London
G&K's Caribbean Cuisine is tucked away in London, but it's well worth seeking out. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly; it feels more like a neighbourhood gem than a stuffy restaurant. The place is bright and welcoming, and though I didn't see photos of the interior, online reviews mention a pleasant chef which contributes to the overall warmth.
Their menu boasts a range of Caribbean classics. One photo shows a perfectly plated jerk chicken, looking juicy and flavorful, which makes sense given the excellent reviews. I also saw mention of stuffed dumplings, which are highly recommended according to many reviews. It's clear they focus on quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
G&K's is perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend lunch with friends. The friendly service and delicious food make it a great spot for a relaxed, tasty meal. What really sets it apart is the authentic taste and the obvious care put into every dish—it feels like a home-cooked meal, but with restaurant-quality execution.

Excellent service and food! Had the jerk chicken and it was yummy 😋
Just ordered an Oxtail dinner , ridiculous flavour and tender meat , straight 10 out of 10 . Staff are always polite and courteous, keep up the great work 👋🏽
I honestly did not enjoy my meal from here. I got two mash-up boxes: one with oxtail and mutton with white rice, and another with Jerk chicken and oxtail with white rice (there was no rice and peas). Both came with plantain. I also ordered a sweet potato pudding and a fried dumpling. The meals were not fresh and therefore tasteless. The dumpling was twisted, which usually indicates it would be delicious, but it was stale and probably made at 6 am. By the time I bought it at 7 pm, it had dried out and had a doggy taste. The salad was also off; as you can see, I tried to bite the cucumber, but it was stale and smelled funny. It was a very hot day, and the salad needed to be refrigerated, not just kept on the cool display shelf. As a result, it was clearly off and inedible. The sweet potato pudding was also stale. The problem with selling stale food is that while you might feel good about selling it rather than throwing it in the bin, the downside is you lose repeat clientele because no one wants to spend £28 on food and have a bad experience. I also puller out this long thing from my food, felt like a piece of cloth not hair. My advice: store food properly and sell fresh food. On a positive note, the customer service was good and friendly.
