I just got back from checking out D&D Caribbean Takeaway in London, and it's a really cute spot! It's a takeaway, so don't expect a fancy sit-down experience, but it has a bright, friendly feel. The photos online show a clean and organized space, with colorful accents that give it a nice Caribbean vibe. It's clearly a small place, but it feels welcoming.
Their menu is pretty straightforward – lots of classic Caribbean dishes. I saw jerk chicken, curried goat, and a few different types of rice and beans. One photo shows a perfectly plated platter with jerk chicken, fried plantains, and coleslaw; it looked delicious. They seem to focus on fresh ingredients and good portions, which is always a plus. I'd definitely recommend trying the jerk chicken; it's a popular choice for a reason.

My friend recommended this restaurant and I think it was the best rice and peas I ever had. I had the veggie meal, and all the dishes were very tasty. Only the bammy wasn’t my favourite, it was very greasy and the grease had some taste to it. Nevertheless, I can’t wait to try other side dishes along the veggie meal.
Great food so tasty and fresh, great service, big portions. There was an issue with the order I placed on Just Eat but immediately I received a call from auntie who explained to me politely the issue and resolved it.
Have recently started ordering takeaway from here and we are hooked!!! The food is so tasty, I can't get enough of the veggie meal! My partner loved the jerk pork meal too. Huge portions and the rice+peas full of flavour, always looking forward to having the leftover rice again the next day 😂. Will stick with this as our fave Caribbean in South East London.
The food here is really good. Traditional Caribbean food. The stew chicken, pepper steak, and oxtail all delicious. My kids love the jerk chicken dumplings. Reasonably priced.
To anyone (like me) that hasn’t given Caribbean food a try before, then get to this place! Friendly staff and the food is (in my opinion) out of this world! Great prices, great portions. A very happy (now regular) customer. Pete
