Caribbean Restaurant in London
Cafe Caribbean in London is tucked away on a quiet side street, a real find! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with vibrant colours and Caribbean music creating a lively but not overwhelming buzz. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the space features plenty of natural light and comfortable seating – perfect for a casual meal with friends.
Their menu boasts a great range of Caribbean classics, from jerk chicken and curried goat to various fish dishes and delicious sides like plantains and rice and peas. One photo shows a perfectly plated platter of jerk chicken, glistening with its signature marinade. I'd definitely recommend trying their fish – it seemed incredibly fresh and flavorful based on the menu descriptions and the photos.
What makes Cafe Caribbean special is its authentic feel; it truly captures the spirit of the islands. It's the kind of place you'd go for a celebratory dinner with friends, a casual lunch date, or even a relaxed solo meal. It’s definitely a welcome addition to London's diverse food scene and stands out by not trying too hard – it’s simply good, honest Caribbean food in a pleasant setting.

Very tasty food and very nice service. It's always a pleasure to go there. I fully recommend the fried chicken on Fridays. Also, indulge yourself with the plantain and the potatoes with pepper.
We came for a late lunch/dinner. The staff were friendly and the food was great and good value for money. The curry goat had a good flavour with a good amount of spice. The ox tail was lovely and was well seasoned. The lamb pattie, plantain and fishcake were also delicious. We would definitely recommend to others and will visit again to try more from the menu 😋 We have been here a few times now the food is always good.
I went here on Sunday 6th October to celebrate my birthday with friends and boy did we have a great time. We all had the roast and couldn’t fault it. The stuffing ball I didn’t think it needed the pepper, but it was still yummy. Love that they didn’t hold back on the gravy, everything had flavour and was cooked well. Seriously, it was so good. Great value for money too at £18.50 for three pieces meat (chicken, beef, lamb), rice and peas and all the trimmings. The staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The establishment was clean with great interior. The music playlist was 10/10. Definitely worth a visit. I’ve already planned my next one.
The young lady who was serving was excellent i had written her name down but it's missing Chicken Patti was the best I've had in the UK Jerk chicken was decent enough tasty enough yet to try the curried goat the rum punch was spot on too 👌 will be going back again
Second time visiting today. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and bursting with flavour. Every dish we have tried has been amazing. Very generous portions, lovely staff especially the Lady serving us. Family run business and I like the homely touch with the decorations, utensils and lighting. Has been saved as favourite. Highly recommended.
