Stepping into Bluejay Cafe felt like a mini-vacation. The place is bright and airy, with a really cheerful Caribbean vibe. It's located in London, but you'd almost think you were somewhere tropical – the music and decor definitely transport you. The photos online don't fully capture the atmosphere; you really have to experience it in person.
Their menu is packed with classic Caribbean dishes, with a focus on fresh ingredients. I saw jerk chicken, curries, and a vibrant array of salads and sides. One photo showed a perfectly plated plate of escovitch fish – it looked incredibly delicious. I'd definitely recommend trying their roti; it looked seriously good and smelled amazing.

I am extremely pleased with the service from Camilla at Bluejays cafe. Her customer service is second to none, she is very attentive and polite and completely made me feel like a valued customer. It’s so refreshing to be served by a person who understands customer service, plus when the dinner arrived it was delicious and I couldn't have expected any less after Camilla’s exceptional service. Thank you Camilla, I will definitely recommend you and your team.
Recently took my aunt for breakfast and we were not disappointed. We are the whole breakfast, absolutely loved the fact that it wasn't greasy at all and I love that the beans come in a seperate little dish so that sauce doesn't get on everything. If I wasn't so stuffed when I left I would've taken away a chicken patty as whilst we were there the orders for those were continuous.
I had an outstanding experience at Bluejay Restaurant. The service and food were exceptional, with generous portions that truly made the meal enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything about this place is top-notch, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The breakfast not so bad, although a friend had a hair in his food! Ordered their food and never again! The stew chicken was bone & skin and tasted horrible the rice was undercooked, patties. Were soggy and tasteless and they sent off coleslaw! These reviews must be based on their breakfast
