So I checked out this new Caribbean place in Liverpool called Rebaz Takeaway. It's a pretty small spot, tucked away, not exactly flashy, but clean and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed; think casual takeout counter with a few small tables if you want to eat in. Looking through the photos online, I noticed they have some nice bright colours on the walls, making it feel cheerful and welcoming.

Their menu is pretty straightforward – lots of jerk chicken, curries, rice and peas, the usual suspects. They also have some interesting sides, like fried plantains and a really tempting-looking macaroni pie. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of jerk chicken with a vibrant, glistening sauce, that made my mouth water. I'd definitely recommend trying the jerk chicken; it looked amazing.

Rebaz Takeaway isn't trying to be anything it's not – it's a great spot for a quick and tasty Caribbean meal. It's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or grabbing lunch on the go. If you're craving authentic Caribbean flavors without the fuss and high price tag of some other places, this is a winner. I can see it becoming a regular spot for many people.
