I popped into Tabriz Persian takeaway in Leeds the other day, and it's a pretty unassuming little spot. The photos online don't really do it justice; it's smaller than I expected but has a really friendly, casual feel. There's not much in the way of decor, but it's clean and bright, and the staff were super welcoming.

Their menu is focused on classic Persian dishes, with lots of rice and kebab options. They have a few vegetarian choices too, which was a nice surprise. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of Joojeh Kebab – it looked incredible. I ended up ordering the chicken, and it was some of the best I've ever tasted.

Tabriz is perfect for a quick, tasty, and affordable lunch or dinner. It's not a place for a fancy night out, but if you're looking for authentic Persian food without the fuss, it's a great find. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves flavorful, hearty food and appreciates a relaxed atmosphere.
