About Lahori
Caribbean Restaurant in Leeds
I just got back from Lahori in Leeds, and it's a really cool spot! It's tucked away, so you might need to hunt for it a bit, but the atmosphere inside is really vibrant. The decor is bright and cheerful, giving it a lively feel. Looking through the photos online, I noticed some beautiful artwork on the walls, too, which adds to the overall charm.
The menu is packed with Caribbean classics, but with a fun, modern twist. They have all the usual suspects like jerk chicken and curry goat, but also some interesting plates I haven't seen elsewhere. One photo shows a perfectly plated seafood platter that looked amazing. I'd definitely recommend trying their roti; it's one of the best I've had in a while.
What makes Lahori special is its energy— it feels genuinely welcoming. It's the kind of place that would be great for a casual weeknight dinner with friends or a fun weekend celebration. They clearly put a lot of care into their food, and the overall experience feels authentic without being stuffy. Anyone who loves Caribbean food or is looking for a lively, delicious meal should check it out.
