So I checked out this new place in Leeds, Gaisby Balti & Pizza, the other night. It's in a pretty unassuming spot, but inside it's surprisingly cozy. The lighting was warm and inviting, and there was a nice buzz to the place – not too loud, just the right level of background chatter. The photos online didn't really capture the atmosphere, but they did show off some of the nice décor, with its mix of traditional and modern touches.

Their menu was interesting – a real mashup of Indian and Italian! They’ve got a good range of both baltis and pizzas, with some interesting fusion options too. One photo shows a perfectly plated Chicken Tikka Masala pizza – it looked amazing. I went for a lamb balti, which was rich and flavorful, and my friend had a margarita pizza that was cooked perfectly. I'd definitely recommend trying something from both sides of the menu.

It’s a really fun and creative approach to food; you don't see many places blending Indian and Italian cuisine like this, and they pull it off well. I think anyone who enjoys trying new things or likes a good, casual meal would love it.
