So I checked out this new Indian place in Glasgow called The Punjab Times – it’s pretty unassuming from the outside, but inside it's got a really nice, warm atmosphere. The photos online don't quite capture it, but the lighting is really inviting, and the tables are nicely spaced so you don't feel crammed in. It felt pretty quiet when I was there, which was good for conversation.

Their menu is pretty standard for an Indian restaurant, but with some interesting twists. They have all the usual curries and biryanis, but I noticed a few dishes I hadn't seen before. One photo showed a perfectly plated tandoori platter, and it looked amazing. I ended up getting the butter chicken, and it was rich and creamy – definitely recommend giving that a try.

What makes The Punjab Times stand out is the friendly service and the relaxed vibe. It’s perfect for a casual weeknight dinner with friends or a low-key date night. It's not trying to be anything fancy, but it does a really solid job of providing delicious and comforting food in a pleasant setting. I think anyone who loves Indian food would enjoy it.
