About Indian Times
Caribbean Restaurant in Glasgow
So I checked out this new place in Glasgow, Indian Times, the other day. It's tucked away a bit, but has a really cool, relaxed atmosphere – think warm lighting, maybe some tasteful artwork on the walls. Looking through the photos online, I noticed the space is fairly small, intimate even, which added to the cozy feel. It's not fancy, just comfortable and inviting.
The menu is focused on classic Indian dishes, but with some interesting twists. They have all the usual suspects like curries and naans, but also some regional specialties I wasn't familiar with. One photo showed a perfectly plated tandoori chicken that looked amazing; I wish I’d tried that! I ended up getting a really flavorful lamb vindaloo, it was rich and satisfying without being too heavy. Next time I will probably try one of their vegetarian options, based on what I saw.
What really makes Indian Times stand out is its friendly service and the clear passion the people running it have for their food. It feels very authentic, like a neighborhood gem. It's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner with friends or a romantic date; certainly not a place for a huge group. It's the kind of place where you can relax, chat, and enjoy some really good, home-style Indian cooking.
