I just got back from African Flavour Lounge in Edinburgh, and it's a really cool spot! It's tucked away, so you might need to look for it, but the atmosphere inside is fantastic. Warm lighting, comfy seating, and a generally relaxed vibe – perfect for a casual dinner. The photos online really didn't do the space justice; it's much more inviting in person, with lots of interesting artwork and decor.

Their menu focuses on African dishes, and it’s diverse enough to please a group with different tastes. They have a nice selection of stews, grilled meats, and sides. One photo showed a perfectly plated plate of plantains and a rich-looking stew; I'm definitely going back to try that. I'd also recommend checking out their daily specials – they seem to change up the offerings frequently, offering a chance to explore a wider variety of flavors.
