About Turtle Bay Leamington Spa
Caribbean Restaurant in Coventry
Turtle Bay Leamington Spa has a really fun, lively atmosphere. The photos show a bright, modern space with a tropical feel – lots of warm wood tones and pops of vibrant color. It looks like the perfect spot for a casual get-together with friends, a date night, or even a larger group celebration. The bar area seems especially buzzing, and everyone looks relaxed and happy.
The menu is packed with Caribbean favorites. I see jerk chicken, curry goat, and plenty of seafood dishes in the photos – one shows a perfectly plated cod dish that looks incredibly appealing. They also have things like salt fish pastries (which I've heard rave reviews about), and what looks like a delicious array of sides, including rice and peas. The food in the pictures looks fresh and flavorful, with lots of bright colors and appealing textures. I’d definitely recommend trying the curry goat hash based on the positive reviews.
Turtle Bay stands out for its energetic atmosphere and delicious, authentic Caribbean food. It's clearly popular for bottomless brunches, judging by the reviews, but seems ideal for any occasion where you want some flavorful food and good company. It’s a place to experience a taste of the Caribbean without breaking the bank, and the enthusiastic reviews suggest fantastic service to top it all off. This is a winner for anyone who loves Caribbean food, vibrant settings, or a fun night out.

Amazing time at this place. The food was excellent, just the right amount of heat/spice and so tasty. The waitress was literally one of the best I've ever had anywhere in the world. 2-4-1 cocktails are always good and these were tasty as well as well priced. I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area next.
Lovely afternoon with a bottomless brunch! We have been coming as a large group, on the first Saturday of January for about 10 years and Millie, our waitress, has been the best one yet! So smiley, nothing was too much trouble. Fab afternoon! (It’s Caribbean hot in there though and I dressed for snow! I’ll come in my bikini next time! Lol!) x
I enjoyed a starter of salt fish pastry. I don't like pastry but this pastry was nice and soft. I had curry goat hash for my main, it was delicious. Our waitress Millie was very polite and friendly. Nit my first time at Turtle. I always come back
Quality restaurant with excellent food. Thoroughly enjoyed a jerk Christmas meal here from the set menu, no complaints across the board (8 people). I especially loved the ginger pudding.
We visited on Saturday for lunch and walked into a relatively empty restaurant. We were given a choice of 3 very small window seats which felt claustrophobic. The family of 4 next to us and the people behind me, I could have put my fork into their food they were that close.... The waiter asked us if we wanted water which we said yes due to the spicy food. Please watch out as there is a charge of £3.50 for water(think it was a 1 litre bottle) and everywhere else we have been gives this for free. Our food arrived in 25 minutes because we ordered the platter for 2 and needed cooking from scratch explained the manager. We waited patiently and during our wait four pieces of soaking wet slices of garlic bread arrived, even the person delivering them pulled a face! When our £31 platter turned up, our immediate reaction was "wow, 31 quid for this!" but within seconds we had to send back one side dish as it was cold on the inside! The platter consisted of 2 sausages, 2 pieces of chicken breast, a small bowl of coconut rice, 2 small dollops of coleslaw(put on the same plate where all the sauces and gravy ran into), some ribs which were nice and a cup of spicy fries(a handful each) As we had already sent food back we cautiously picked through the food, some was burnt, some was quite nice but the whole experience was ruined by bits of everything including the bill which included the food we had sent back earlier. We told the young lady and it was quickly removed. In our experience, the seating is just too close, the food was very very disappointing and for £55 not value for money either. The good things are the decor and the atmosphere which we've always liked when visiting other Turtle Bay restaurants. Sorry but poor and has put us off.
