About Anedofingerlicking
Caribbean Restaurant in Coventry
AnedoFingerLicking in Coventry is tucked away but easy to find once you know where to look. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming; Wizkid was playing in the background, which immediately set a fun, celebratory tone. It felt very much like a community gathering place, with a friendly, bustling energy.
Their menu focuses on Nigerian cuisine. The Jollof rice was a star, judging by the rave reviews I read. One photo showed a perfectly plated plate of suya, which looked incredibly tempting. They also offer egusi soup, plantains, and other traditional dishes. I'd definitely recommend trying the suya and Jollof, based on what I saw and heard.
This spot is perfect for a casual night out with friends, a birthday celebration, or even just a quick, delicious weeknight meal. The fact that it’s clearly a favorite among the local community speaks volumes – and the music alone makes it a more unique dining experience than many others in Coventry. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great food, and feel the energy of the space.

With Wizkid songs in the background, each spoon of Jollof rice was like a portal traversing between Coventry and Home. And the Suya? Try it first and you’ll know exactly what I’m thinking
Only thing fresh was the plantain. Egusi must have been reheated because some bits of meat ice cold. Not to the quality and taste I expected. Order suya and meat was definitely cooked the night before. Won't be ordering from here again.
Attended a birthday function here and enjoyed a great evening meal we ate and drank to our heart's content. The restaurant is clean and has professional friendly service. It's Black History Month, I suggest trying Nigerian delicacies at Anedos ☺
This is the best Nigerian restaurant in Coventry for an Igbo person. The oha and onugbo soup are Anambra standard. Nkwobi, Abacha, isiewu are all top notch. I really really really enjoyed all the meals. Jellof rice and plantain was excellent. Plus the serene environment, perfect for people who don't like crowd. This is way better than AGG
I ordered in. The food was well packaged. However, the jollof tastes warmed. Everything came warm, which is nice. The gizzard is a bit tough. In my opinion, the gozdodo, fried fish and abacha could do with a little more salt.
