MELTZONE in Cardiff is a really cool spot – tucked away, but worth seeking out. The atmosphere is relaxed and vibrant; think bright colours and good music playing softly in the background. Looking through the photos online, I noticed they've done a great job making the place feel open and welcoming, with lots of natural light.

Their menu focuses on Caribbean classics with a modern twist. They have jerk chicken, of course, and several interesting seafood dishes. One photo shows a perfectly plated escovitch fish that looked incredible. I’d definitely recommend trying their plantains – they were cooked just right.
