Juno Lounge in Cardiff is a really cool spot – tucked away, it has this relaxed, intimate feel. The lighting is warm and inviting, and the decor is modern Caribbean with a touch of funk. Looking through the photos, I noticed some really interesting artwork on the walls, too. It feels like a place where you could easily spend hours chatting with friends.

Their menu is concise but interesting, focusing on fresh Caribbean flavours. I saw jerk chicken, a few delicious-looking fish dishes, and some really tempting sides like plantain and festival. One photo shows a perfectly plated escovitch fish with vibrant colours, and another had a rich-looking oxtail stew. I'd definitely recommend trying the jerk chicken, as it smelled amazing when I was there!
