So I checked out this new Caribbean place in Cardiff called Istanbul Kebab – a bit of a name clash, I know! It's tucked away on a quieter street, so it has a really relaxed feel. The atmosphere was pretty chill, good background music, and the place was nicely lit, creating a cozy vibe. The photos online showed a clean, modern space with some colorful artwork – nothing too fancy, but definitely inviting.

The menu focused on traditional Caribbean dishes, with lots of jerk chicken and flavorful stews. They had a good selection of sides, like rice and peas and plantains. I especially liked the look of the grilled snapper in one of the photos; it looked perfectly cooked and seasoned. I ended up ordering the jerk chicken, which was tender and perfectly spiced. The portion size was generous, so I definitely got my money's worth.
