It has a really warm, friendly atmosphere – think colorful walls, maybe some artwork, creating a cozy, informal space that felt welcoming from the moment I walked in. The photos online showed off the comfortable seating and vibrant decor perfectly – it really does feel like a place designed for relaxed gatherings.
Their menu is a celebration of Caribbean flavors! I saw jerk chicken, various curries, and some fantastic-looking sides. One photo showed a perfectly plated platter of fried plantains with a vibrant dipping sauce, making my mouth water just looking at it. I'd definitely recommend trying their specialty dishes – the staff were really enthusiastic about them and happy to offer suggestions.

What a great spot on city road! Recommend to come here by my work colleague and they were absolutely right in directing me here. The goat curry dish was so flavourful and my partners kebab dish impressing also. The staff are super friendly and recommend dishes for us. I can’t wait to return!
Absolutely amazing food, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Highly recommend the tacos and the jambalaya - both were absolutely delicious. The meat in both dishes was so tender. Service was 10/10. Staff here are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. Our first visit to Afrikana and definitely won’t be the last.
Very nice and comfortable restaurant in the north side of City road. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The dishes are mainly meat and there's only one veggie option I think, which is a pity, especially if you want to go with someone vegetarian. I've been there a couple of times and I really like it.
Amazing place to go for food. Vibes were great, service was lovely, drinks and food was delicious. We also took some leftovers as we ordered too much which was not a hassle for them at all. 10/10!
This restaurant was a great find for me. The prices were very good comparatively, and the service was fast and professional. The food came out very quickly and it was steaming hot. I had my usual jollof rice which was very good and tasty. In summary, fantastic food! It was cooked to perfection and the flavours were amazing. Great menu to choose from too. Reasonably priced and the staff were very helpful too.
