Nadu in Bristol is tucked away on a quiet side street, which gives it a really lovely, intimate feel. The space is bright and airy, with a modern Caribbean vibe – think clean lines and pops of bold colour. Looking through the photos online, I noticed lots of natural light and some beautiful artwork on the walls. It felt really welcoming and relaxed, not at all stuffy.

The menu at Nadu is quite exciting! They offer a range of classic Caribbean dishes with a really modern twist. One photo shows a perfectly plated jerk chicken with a vibrant mango salsa, it looked incredible. I'd recommend trying their curried goat – it was rich and flavourful, and the plantains were perfectly sweet and slightly caramelised.

What makes Nadu special is that it manages to be both sophisticated and approachable. It's the perfect spot for a romantic dinner, a celebratory meal with friends, or even just a delicious solo lunch. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the overall atmosphere make it stand out from other Caribbean restaurants I've been to in Bristol.
