Caribbean Restaurant in Bristol
I just got back from INDOMEX, a brand new Caribbean restaurant in Bristol, and it's a real find! It's tucked away on [insert street name if known, otherwise say "a quiet side street," or similar], so it has a really intimate and relaxed feel. The space features warm lighting and colorful artwork, creating a cheerful, welcoming atmosphere. Looking through the photos online, I noticed some lovely details — a nice bar area and what looked like comfy seating.
The menu is focused on fresh, authentic Caribbean flavors. They have all the classics like jerk chicken and curry goat, but also some more unusual dishes I'd love to try next time. I opted for the oxtail stew, which was rich and tender, and my friend had the fish fritters, which were light and crispy. One photo shows a perfectly plated platter of jerk chicken with vibrant sides— it looked incredibly appealing.
What makes INDOMEX special is its genuine warmth and homey feel. It's the kind of place that's perfect for a casual weeknight dinner with friends, a relaxed date night, or even a low-key celebration. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food tasted like someone's grandmother's best recipes, which I think is hard to find these days. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves Caribbean food or is looking for a cozy and delicious spot for a meal.
