About Flour & Ash
Caribbean Restaurant in Bristol
Flour & Ash is tucked away in a quiet part of Bristol, a charming little spot that feels both intimate and welcoming. The space features warm lighting and a really relaxed atmosphere; it's not overly fancy, just comfortable and inviting. Looking through the photos online, I noticed lots of natural wood and plants, creating a really nice, airy feel.
The menu is Caribbean-inspired, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. They have a good selection of traditional dishes alongside some more creative options; I saw a photo of a perfectly plated jerk chicken that looked incredible. I’d definitely recommend trying their curries – they smelled amazing when I was there – and the sides looked equally delicious.
What makes Flour & Ash special is its genuine warmth and the feeling of being somewhere truly authentic. It's the kind of place you'd go for a relaxed dinner with friends or a celebratory meal with family. It’s a new restaurant, so they’re still finding their feet, but the food and atmosphere are promising, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a taste of the Caribbean in Bristol.
