About Bikkle Island
Caribbean Restaurant in Bristol
So I checked out this new Caribbean place in Bristol called Bikkle Island – it's a really small, cozy spot. The atmosphere was super relaxed, almost like stepping into someone's sunny kitchen. The photos online showed bright, colourful walls and some charming little details, like woven placemats. It felt very welcoming and informal.
Their menu is pretty straightforward, focusing on classic Caribbean dishes. They had jerk chicken, of course, and a few different types of curry. One photo shows a perfectly plated plate of fried plantains with a vibrant-looking jerk chicken. I'd really recommend trying their roti – it looked amazing, and everyone raved about it.
Bikke Island is perfect for a casual, weeknight dinner or a low-key get-together with friends. What sets it apart is that genuine, friendly vibe and the fact it doesn't try to be anything it's not – just good, home-style Caribbean food. Anyone looking for a taste of the islands without the fuss will love it.
